13 lipca b.r. zmarł Mike Browning – perkusista i wokalista z kręgu muzyki ekstremalnej.
Browning urodził się 26 maja 1964 r. w Tampie na Florydzie i na początku lat 80. brał czynny udział w tworzeniu tamtejszej sceny deathmetalowej. Był współzałożycielem, pierwszym perkusistą i wokalistą zespołu Morbid Angel, z którym nagrał płytę “Abominations of Desolation“. Po odejściu z tej kapeli założył kapelę Nocturnus (później Nocturnus A.D.). Współpracował także z zespołami: After Death, Acheron, Lethal Prayer, Lisa The Wolf (z wokalistką Lisą Lombardo). Jest uznawany za jednego z pionierów metalu ekstremalnego.
